I consulted for the Artist Caraballo-Farman in the Object Breast Cancer project, in visualizing Leonor Caraballo´s (1971 – 2015, r.i.p.) breast cancer, with Osirix medical sofware and Slicer 3D tool.
The key aims of the project was to create a 3D model of the breast cancer tumor, to create metallic jewellery and concepts for public sculptural installations out of the tumor, as well as to sell the jewellery and related statues to fund the late artist´s medical fees.

1.3 Million women in the world are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
For most, the tumor has no image.
It’s an invisible monster, an unseen malignancy.
OBJECT BREAST CANCER (OBC) is based on the conviction that artistic interventions can have important social and psychological effects.
The project includes sculptural and installation work as well as jewelry.
The project has been supported by fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and New York Foundation for the Arts, residencies at Eyebeam Art and Technology Center, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and assistance from NYU’s Advanced Media Studios and Stratasys Inc.
caraballo-farman are multi-disciplinary artists who have exhibited internationally in such venues as the Tate Modern, PS1/Moma and the Yerba Buena Center for The Arts.“
